I specially want to visit the farm. 我特別想?yún)⒂^這個(gè)農(nóng)場。 2. 用于強(qiáng)調(diào)目的，意為“特意”、“專門”，通常與表目的的不定式或介詞 for 短語連用。如：

He came here specially to see her. 他專程來看她。

I made this specially for your birthday. 這是我特意為你的生日而做的。

◆speech n.

1. 表示說話的能力、行為、方式等，通常為不可數(shù)名詞。如：

In some stories animals have speech. 在有些故事里動(dòng)物會(huì)說話。

2. 泛指一般意義的話語、言語等，也是不可數(shù)名詞。如：

Speech was impossible with so much noise around. 周圍這么吵，簡直沒法說話。

He tried to put his thoughts into speech. 他竭力想用言語來表達(dá)他的思想。

3. 表示“報(bào)告”、“演說”等，通常是可數(shù)名詞。如：

She gave [made] a speech to the college students. 她給大學(xué)生作了演講。

I’ve got to give [make] a speech and I’m a bit nervous about it. 我要作個(gè)報(bào)告，我對(duì)此還有點(diǎn)緊張。

◆speed n.

用作名詞，表法“速度”，注意與介詞 at 和 with 的搭配：

1. 與介詞 at 連用時(shí)，通�？捎� full, top, low, high, half, safe, slow, different, express, ordinary 等形容詞修飾。如：

Please drive at a safe speed. 請(qǐng)以安全速度行駛。

The plane came to land at a low speed. 飛機(jī)低速著陸。

We were moving at full speed (at different speeds). 我們以全速(不同速度)前進(jìn)。

2. 與介詞 with 連用時(shí)，通�？捎� all, great, good, surprising等修飾。如：

It moved with great speed. 它很快地移動(dòng)。

The dispute was settled with surprising speed. 那場爭端以驚人的速度獲得解決。

注：以上區(qū)別只是大致的，混用的情況有時(shí)也是可能的。

3. 在 at a [the] speed of (以……的速度)這一結(jié)構(gòu)中，總是用介詞 at。如：

He drove at a speed of 40 miles an hour. 他以每小時(shí)40 英里的速度駕車行駛。

Can the plane fly at the speed of sound? 這飛機(jī)能以音速飛行嗎?
