如何用英語表示“感謝某人做某事”

要表示漢語的“感謝某人做某事”，英語最常用的表達(dá)是thank sb for doing sth，但是不能用thank sb to do sth。如：

Thank you for telling me. 謝謝你告訴我。

Thank you so much for coming. 非常感謝你來這里。

I must write and thank her for sending me the check. 我一定寫信感謝她給我寄來了支票。

注：有時(shí)也可見到thank sb to do sth的用法，但主要用于I will thank you to do sth這樣的句式，用于加強(qiáng)請(qǐng)求或命令的語氣，原本是為了使語氣更客氣，但現(xiàn)在常帶有氣憤或反感之意味，可譯為“請(qǐng)”“請(qǐng)你”“我求你”。如：
